Women’s Event Speaking

Sara’s favorite passage of Scripture is Romans 8:14-17 which reads, “For all those led by God’s Spirit are God’s sons. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear. Instead, you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father!’ The Spirit himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children, and if children, also heirs—heirs of God and coheirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.” (CBS)

Scripture is God’s love letter to His people. In it, He reveals His heart and His character. He exposes our sin, showing our desperate need for a Savior, and tells us of His love, mercy, and grace that He has lavished upon us through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. He invites us to a right relationship with Him and to eternal life spent with Him in Glory.

When Christians fall in love with God’ Word, it changes their relationship with Him. He is Yahweh God, Creator of all things, and yet He desires to be Abba Father!
